When Sourcebooks approached me to create the trailer for I’ll Never Call Him Dad Again, they needed more than a compelling visual. The book tells an earth-shattering, true story that had already made global headlines—and whose author, Caroline Darian, had appeared on Oprah.
This became so much more than a trailer for me. This was a chance to help elevate the story of a survivor. A daughter. A woman whose family trauma became a collective call to action. With my background in international TV production, I approached this project with care, clarity, and purpose, weaving together sensitive material in a way that honored the truth without sensationalizing the pain.
As difficult and sensitive as the subject matter was, this collaboration stands as one of the most meaningful in my career. Caroline is giving a voice to the voiceless—and I’m proud to have helped her amplify that voice.
This was more than a book trailer production. This was international advocacy.

This book—and the trailer that launched it—is about survival, solidarity, and justice. Caroline’s campaign, #MendorsPas, continues the fight to end chemical submission in the home.
