As winterβs last dance turned my Art Deco apartment into a snow globe this week, the feeling was bittersweet: although Iβm looking forward to springβs waking life, a part of me will always long for the ethereal magic of winter. Thankfully, storytelling knows no bounds, so whenever I need a little touch of winter to make me feel cozy, I can always create my own! Thatβs what The Fairytale Sessions will be: a place to write new stories or tell beloved tales.
The Fairytale Sessions were born from nights battling anxiety when bedtime felt more like a war than a retreat. I sought refuge and relief through the soothing cadence of Sleep Stories. They werenβt just tales; they were a sanctuary for my restless mind. This solace blossomed into a vision: to forge a space where art, magic, and melody could wrap our weary adult souls in a sense of childlike whimsy and wonder again. That vision became Magic Vibes Only, and I always knew that a type of sleep story for fairytale and folklore enthusiasts would be born here.
With a mix of nerves and excitement, Iβm thrilled to announce that my first original folktale, βKrampus and Perchta: Guardians of Winterβs Splendor,β is ready for the world this weekend!
